Bhagwat Dangi · TakeApp: Billing & POS
Privacy policy
How the native Android app handles local accounts, business records, scanner metadata and the files you choose to share.
About this policy
Bhagwat Dangi provides TakeApp: Billing & POS (Android package in.takeapp.pos). This policy covers this native Android app and its local billing and business-management features. It does not describe TakeApp web services or a cloud store. Effective date: 1 October 2026.
Contact Bhagwat Dangi about privacy or support at support@takeapp.in. The buttons below open your browser or email app only when you choose them. Opening this policy in the app does not require internet access.
Accounts and business records on your device
Signup creates a profile on this installation. Your email, random account identifier, password salt and password hash are stored locally. Your password is not stored as plain text. There is no email verification, remote authentication, cross-device account or connection to TakeApp web accounts.
The app stores the details you enter to run your business: store contact/address, GSTIN, UPI ID and payment preferences; products, barcodes, prices, photos and stock; customer and supplier details; sales, invoices, balances and expenses; staff details, salaries, manual attendance; tasks, tables and reservations. Notes and exported documents may contain personal or financial information. These business records are not automatically uploaded to Bhagwat Dangi.
Cash, UPI, Card, Bank and Credit record a payment you received or a debt. The app does not send or collect money, process card payments or ask for card numbers, CVV or banking passwords. The /store/ address in setup is a local preview, not a published online store.
Photos, device features and preferences
When you choose Add photo or Change photo, Android lets you select an image from a provider. The app copies a resized JPEG into its private files. A chosen cloud provider may access its own service. The app does not request broad photo-library or camera permission, read your contacts or track your location.
Shake for calculator uses accelerometer readings while enabled to open the calculator. The app does not record or upload those readings. You can turn this feature off in Preferences or the calculator. Interface settings and intro/language preferences are local. Product searches and calculator inputs are not sent by the app.
The app checks only whether WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business is installed to offer that sharing destination. It does not upload an installed-app inventory.
Google barcode scanner
Scanning uses Google Play services Code Scanner with auto-zoom. Scan images and results are processed on-device. Google receives SDK device/app information, identifiers, performance/configuration metadata, events and error codes for diagnostics and usage analytics. Auto-zoom adds a scan-session identifier, zoom changes and predicted barcode bounds; these are image coordinates, not geographic location. Google documents HTTPS for this metadata. It may also download scanner components. Manual entry is available; the app has no separate SDK telemetry switch.
Google's handling is described at developers.google.com/ml-kit/android-data-disclosure and developers.google.com/ml-kit/terms, with Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Removing local app data is not a verified request to erase Google's metrics.
Sharing, saving and printing
PDF and CSV files are generated on your device. Only when you choose Share PDF, WhatsApp PDF, CSV export, Save PDF or Print does the app hand a document to the recipient app, document provider or print service you select. Files may include store, customer, employee and financial details. WhatsApp is optional; Android's share options remain available.
Chosen recipients and providers can transmit, store or otherwise handle copies under their own policies. The app grants access to the selected export file and cannot remove copies already shared, saved or printed. There is no automatic email, messaging, backup upload or payment service in this native app.
The current app has no advertising integration or app-controlled marketing tracking. If you email support, your email provider and Bhagwat Dangi receive what you choose to send. No business records are attached automatically. Do not send passwords or unnecessary customer/employee records.
Security and backup
Local account and workspace JSON files use Android Keystore encryption and atomic saving. Passwords use salted password hashing. Selected photos and generated PDF/CSV cache files are private app files but are not separately encrypted. Exported copies use the security of their selected destination; device access and destination choices matter.
Android app backup is disabled in the manifest, and cloud-backup/device-transfer exclusions are configured. The app provides no account synchronization or app-managed cloud backup. Keep exports you need in a place you control.
Retention, removal and your choices
Records stay on the installation until its app data is removed. Logout keeps local profiles and records for later login. Archive/void controls preserve history and snapshots. Removing a photo reference does not delete the copied photo file, and canceled edits can leave copies. Generated export cache has no fixed app expiry; Android may evict cache.
There is no separate Delete account action. To remove this installation's data, use Android Settings → Apps → TakeApp: Billing & POS → Storage or Storage & cache → Clear storage or Clear data. Device labels vary. This permanently removes ALL local profiles, store records and private photos/cache for the app, not just the currently signed-in profile. Export needed records first. Uninstalling normally removes private app data too.
Local removal does not delete your original image in another provider, files already saved/shared/printed, or independently retained Google SDK metadata. Bhagwat Dangi cannot remotely retrieve or erase the app's local workspace. Offline-created profiles are separate from online app accounts. Contact support for questions about data handling or a support message you sent; email is not a remote workspace deletion tool.
You control the records you enter, optional photos/scanning, payment preferences and explicit export destinations. We do not automatically upload your business records. Policy changes will be reflected in the app and at takeapp.in/privacy with an updated effective date.
